1960 Dorfgastein Mountain Lift Company founded
  Brandsteinbahn single-seater chair lift facility starts running
1964 The limited company becomes a public company
1961 to 1970 First tow lift facilities constructed at Wengeralm, Rauchleiten, Hubertus and Fulseck
1971 First Gastein ski resort opens in Dorfgastein-Großarl
1972 to 1984 Various new buildings and construction of tow lift facilities and chair lifts (Wengeralm I, Mühlwinkel, Rauchleiten, Mühlwinkel double chair lift, Kühhageralm, Wengeralm II, Fulseck II, Brandlalm, Brandsteinbahn double chair lift)
1985 Opening of the first Gastein ski kindergarten
  25 year anniversary of the mountain railway
1989 Construction of the Dorfgastein ski resort’s first detachable gondola lift
  Gasteinertal flight centre for hang-gliding and paragliding opens
1994 Construction of a panorama binocular telescope. Permission granted for the training area for paragliding and hang-gliding. Construction of the first half pipe for snowboarders in Gasteinertal
1986 to 1996 Construction of the artificial snow system in the Dorfgastein ski resort, from the valley as high as Fulseck and with numerous sections; full sewage/waste water system installed (2033 m)
1996 Completion of the race track including time measurement and artificial snow facility. Introduction of the contactless card system
1997 Construction of the snowboard fun park at the Middle Station
2001 Joined Austria’s largest ski association, the “Skiverbund amadé”
2002 to 2008 Various extensions to the snow machine and snow canon facilities, made more family-friendly, extension of the ski routes and construction of new downhill segments
2009 Construction of the “6 SBK Gipfelexpress Fulseck” modern high performance cable car – the first cable car facility at the Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski resort with heated seats. Construction of “Adrenalin”, the first, continually prepared black downhill run in Dorfgastein, from the Fulseck summit to the Franz glacier. This downhill run has an automatic snow canon.
2010

Snowshoe trail from the Fulseck mountain station to the middle station

2011 Construction of Fulseck’s first panoramic winter hiking trail, heading towards Arltörl. Heavenly winter scenes await the visitors! Continual improvements to the slopes in the ski region
2012

Slope D2 was extended by the development of modern standards. Fully automated cannon towers were used on this slopes.

2013

Slope D1c and D7c from middle station to valley-station “Wengerhochalmbahn” were extended by the development of modern standards. Fully -automated cannon towers were used on this slopes.

Ski run signage system and panoramic boards are redesigned.

2014

Forrest playground and “Crystal Place” beneath “Mirror Lake” were built. Start of planning phase for extension of the valley run.

2015 Forrest playground was extended. A photopoint (skiline) and a viewing platform were constructed at the top station. Outside monitors were acquired at valley-station.
2016

Widening of valley run and modernisation of snow-making-system in Dorfgastein

With start of winter season 2016/17 the new, wided and comfortable valley run is opened. Now there is a continuous blue slope from the top station Fulseck (2033m above sea level) to the valley of Dorfgastein.

The quality standards from the top to the valley-station were highly improved with this investment. 7 million Euro were invested in the widening of the valley run, the modernisation of the snow-making-system and the new platter lift.

2017

Completion of the new building for producing snow 2 an 1, finalisation and reclamation of the slope to the valley – news snow making system – children´s world, placing a new camera which sends pictures from the “Spiegelsee” in summer and from the chair lift “Gipfelexpress Fulseck” in winter.

2018

Renew the access system at the lifts “Kühhageralm”, “Wengerhochalmbahn” and platter lift “Rauchleiten”. Building funslopes for our youngest guests in the children´s world “Rauchleiten”.
